Lighting & Landscape is a Central London based company specialising in Landscape design & specialist external lighting. The company is run by Susan Quirke Creative Director who as well as working on external spaces is also a Lighting & Interior Designer.
She set the company up as so many of her clients wanted her to design the external space as an extension of her Interior design style & dramatic lighting design.

We work with the client to create a space that is complimentary to their needs whether for family or as a social space. We work on large garden spaces creating different zones for different areas or small city centre external spaces such as a roof terrace. We also combine lighting to highlight the sculptural planting or incorporated into a water feature so the space can be used in the evening as much as in the daytime or just to highlight the garden area when viewing from inside.

We design & manage each installation using our specialist team of Contractors therefore guaranteeing a quality service to our clients. We can provide an overall concept design or undertake the full works from specification of materials & plants to site management & completion of works depending on the clients needs.

We have installed swimming pools into large garden areas, created water features for roof terraces as well as bespoke designing sculptural features & seating for the external space.

We ensure that the final designs suits the clients lifestyle if they require a low maintenance space or a space for hosting events or as a family space Landscape and Light create spaces for individuals.

People are unique & each client has different requirements for their space depending on their lifestyle. We create spaces that are useable & stylish blending materials & planting with feature lighting & seating to allow for a flexible space that works as much at the start of the day as at the end & also through the different seasons. We like to compliment the Interior also bringing elements of the inside to the outside maybe through the use of feature lighting or a paving material. We can create any style garden within your space what ever the size.

Specialist Lighting

We offer the additional service to our clients of bespoke lighting & AV design. We can wire in some external speakers or use colour changing mood lighting to highlight the planting scheme or water feature. External spaces are becoming an extension of the inside and we offer with the lighting design the ability to use your space in the evening whether to relax or as an extra room. We work extensively with external lighting and can compliment the overall landscape design with the lighting scheme. Our sister company QMC Lighting combines both Internal & External lighting design where we can compliment the Internal lighting scheme with the external landscaping.
