Landscape Design
Lighting & Landscape work on projects from small Urban Terraces to large country gardens & large communal spaces. We undertake the hard landscaping & planting or just the overall concept design depending on the client's requirements. Working with our clients we develop the brief for the space & space plan the area to maximise its usage. External spaces are becoming an extension of the Interior & we seek to create spaces that are both practical & aesthetical.
Lighting
Lighting & Landscape are known for our creative lighting schemes within external spaces. We work with specialist external lighting incorporating it within the planting or within a water feature or sculpture. We illuminate decking areas & create schemes that bring the space to light in the evening creating different moods & ambience through the different seasons also. We believe that creative lighting is essential to an external space to compliment the overall design.
Project Management & Installation
Lighting & Landscape provide full project management & installation services on our projects. After initial design & layout we work through the details of the project & can use our own installation team to complete the works. All works are Project Managed throughout to ensure final quality.

Susan Quirke Ceative Director
BA (Hons), MAPM, ABIDA, AIIDA, RIDipl, RIBA
Susan Quirke originally trained as a Project Manager & Interior Designer before moving into Lighting & Landscape design. She is passionate about external spaces believing that they are an extension of the Interior & should be developed into both practical & aesthetical spaces. Susan comes from a family of avid gardeners through her Irish & Dutch roots and has always been interested in combing her lighting knowledge with her passion for the outside.
As an Interior Designer she has always been called upon to extend her design into designing the roof-terrace of a property or extend her design for a house into the garden space bringing the specialist lighting from inside to the outside also. Now she also works on landscape projects as independent sole projects.
“Clients want to make the most out of their external space & no matter what the size we can create something they can use for social occasions or as an intimate, relaxing space”.
What makes us different is our use of specialist lighting to enhance the space. We are often asked to add lights to an external space even where we haven't originally designed it as the clients see what we can do to compliment the space & make it more useable & effective. We oversee all our projects on site so the client is ensured of a complete efficient service & work on the overall landscape & lighting, specialist lighting or just concept design depending on client requirements.
